You’ve been looking forward to your wedding day for months. Checklists have been meticulously created and revised to accommodate changing plans. You’ve met with the wedding organizers and discussed how to execute the picture-perfect wedding.
Most of your planning is on track, and now it’s time to gather your wits together, keep calm, and smile your way to the wedding. As the bride, how are you planning to spend the last 30 days until the wedding ceremony? Here are our some choices for what you should consider in the final month.
Keep eating healthy
This one’s a no-brainer, and ideally should be followed all-year round. In the run-up to the wedding however, it is the most important thing. Eat the right food ensures that you are at your peak and the healthier you are, the more fresh and radiant you will look on that big day. Make sure that you maintain a regular eating and sleeping pattern, especially in the days leading up to the wedding. Avoid late socials as much as possible apart from wedding-related events, of course.
Exercise regularly:
Wedding planning can be quite stressful, and with people around you constantly asking for updates on preparations and offering all kinds of suggestions, you may often become unnecessarily worried about the upcoming events. Exercise regularly, to keep your figure in shape, and also to destress. Take up anything you enjoy, be it going to the gym, attending a yoga class regularly, or kickstarting your day with some aerobics. Meditate for a few minutes each day. Not only will it help you focus on the most important tasks ahead, you will also end up feeling peaceful and calm.
Finalize honeymoon plans:
You’ve probably finalized most of your honeymoon plans by now, but if you haven’t this is your last chance to ensure that everything is on track. After being surrounded by family and friends 24/7 before and during the wedding festivities, this is the one chance to spend some time together and relax in each other’s company. Get in touch with your travel agent to ensure that all plans are on track, and contact your tour operator and other associated vendors for a final check.
Pamper yourself with regular grooming sessions:
All the shutterbugs will soon be upon you, and you just have to look your best on your wedding day. Remember that it is not only your designated wedding photographer who will be clicking away. With cellphones snapping fervently among your guests, pictures of your big day may be doing its rounds on social media even before the final ceremony ends.
So book pre-wedding spa treatments and beauty sessions in time, for some regular pampering. Make an appointment with your hair stylist and makeup artist and try and do a pre-wedding trial if possible, so that there are no last minute hiccups. Enjoy each and every day and all the excitement in the run-up to your wedding.
