First prize is to deal directly with the Line Manager understandably in conjunction with the HR and its onboarding process. Having access to communicate with the Line Manager gives us insight into the critical elements and interdependencies across functions and divisions, and the effects this has on the organisation’s business decisions; these things are not always evident in a “dry” job description. On-going communication during the recruitment drive is essential from all parties concerned; not only will this assist us in finding the right-fit candidate, but will also expedite turnaround times.
